**THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION**
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Relationship Manager is responsible for partnering with Supply Chain IT team members and business partners to manage the incoming and backlog of request & incidents impacting the business operations. The goal will be to establish an aligned, prioritized view into the backlog in order to have these delivered as a part of the schedule Agile sprint cycles as well has provide clear, frequent updates back to the business on status & progress.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Builds relationships with business stakeholders in Supply Chain Organization (Vehicle Processing Center and Parts Distribution Center) within various departments to gather and understand business priorities related to issues / incidents and maintain an aligned prioritized list of problems & incidents.
- Develops a deep knowledge of the business unit and build positive relationship development, both horizontally and vertically.
- Oversees the delivery of IT support to these problems / incidents as a part of the scheduled Agile sprint cycles.
- Tracks and reviews performance to ensure the success of business change initiatives and provides stakeholders with insights into the results of business change and initiatives.
- Ensures project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication. This includes managing escalation and avoiding risk.
- Provide BRM responsibilities supporting enhancements, incident response, Reporting and analytics.
- Test, coordinate, and plan the implementation and support of applications
- Supports testing and training for end users.
- Gain solid understanding of the business process, workflows, and data. Be able to translate into design and deploy functionality to meet business requirements.
- Work with and support project managers and business team members during scoping, requirements, and testing sessions to ensure application projects are a success.
- Develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing. Perform functional testing. Be able to translate test failures into solid resolutions.
- Participate and advocate for continuous improvement. Identification and subsequent development of areas for improvement. Automate when Applicable.
- Mentoring and technical knowledge transfer for colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a bachelor's degree with 5 plus years of experience in the field or in a related area or possess an equivalent Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the business process and IT systems.
- Partners with the project/program/portfolio management organization (PMO) to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio.
- Interfaces with the Product Owner, Application Development team and Architecture team to understand new technology trends and forecast future IT infrastructure requirements.
- Demonstrates acumen in business and function disciplines.
- Highly motivated, excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Works to communicate and understand concerns related to IT alignment across departments .
- Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can support and improve them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

TRAVEL REQUIRED
The job requires significant domestic travel (up to 50% of the time). The associate is frequently required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business purposes. A large amount of this travel involves driving a company vehicle.
